What is Stain Prevention Sealer Treatment?

DustBusters Sealer Treatment is specially made for porous natural and stone floors such as Italian marble, sandstone, kota stone, granite, etc. These floors are prone to getting stains due to spills over a period of time. With Stain Treatment, you can ensure that stains are formed on your exquisite italian marble floors.

We use Akemi Stain Repellent Nano Effect Sealer which is a high quality made-in-Italy sealer with Nano-seal technology. We can use other sealers also from reputed brands like 3M and Dupont with additional charges due to them being expensive. Our recommended brand Akemi provides sealer liquid which is food-safe and harmless to health. It impregnates the marble surface and repels water, oil and grease.

Our Sealer treatment can also be applied to table tops made of absorbent artifical stones. It makes removal of spots easily and ensures teh stone is capable of breathing. The protective effect begins after some minutes of application and is fully effective after 2-3 hours.

A liquid spill on the properly sealed marble floor will create ball shaped liquid pearls also called as hydro-phobic effect i.e. liquid repelling effect which then, can be wiped off the surface with a mop or cloth.

DustBusters Granite Polishing Process

1.

The surface should be pre-polished before the sealer treatment.

2.

Scrub the floor using Partek Sumo scrubbing machine and a pH-neutral floor cleaner to clean dirt deposits.

3.

Using an applicator, apply Nano Sealer onto the marble surface evenly and let it penetrate and bond with the surface.

4.

Re-coat the surface with sealer till the time the penetration stops. With different stones, quantity of sealer might vary.

5.

Buff excess sealer using a dry lint free cloth. If the marble floor is high porosity, another coat of sealer might be required.

6.

Let the sealed marble floor dry for a few hours by restricting movement on it.
